The Wedding of Prince Gustav of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg and Carina Axelsson

Over the weekend, a much awaited princely wedding took place in Germany. On Friday, 3 June, Prince Gustav of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg and Carina Axelsson were civilly married at Bad Berleburg. The prince and princess celebrated their religious wedding on Saturday, 4 June, at the Evangelical Church of Castle Berleburg. Among the guests for the religious union were Princess Benedikte of Denmark, Princess Alexandra of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg with her children, Princess Madeleine of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg (Countess of Solms-Laubach by marriage), Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark, Prince Joachim and Princess Marie of Denmark, Prince Stephan and Princess Maria of Lippe, Hereditary Prince Franz Albrecht and Hereditary Princess Cleopatra of Oettingen-Spielberg, Hereditary Prince Hubertus and Hereditary Princess Kelly of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, and Fürstin Cecilia of Waldeck and Pyrmont.
