Yesterday, 6 January 2021, Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine of Serbia attended a Christmas Eve Solemn Service at the Saint Eleftherios Greek Orthodox Church in New York. The crown princely couple decided to attend services there since the Serbian Orthodox Cathedral of Saint Sava in Belgrade is under reconstruction. Christians of the Eastern Orthodox faith mark the birth of Jesus Christ on 7 January (as per the Julian calendar). The crown prince issued the following Christmas message:

On the occasion of the Christ’s birth, to all citizens of Serbia and all people around the world who celebrate this Holy day on January 7, I extend warmest congratulations. I hope that you spend Christmas in peace and love, surrounded by your loved ones. Most of all, my family and I wish you good health. Let your home and your family be a source of peace, warmth, and love. Peace of God, Christ is born!
